Microchips are on auto ship from Merck - they will ship when we have one box left.
If there is a problem with shipment, or there is no shipment, contact Home Again directly.
If a microchip backs out of the pet, call Home Again to report this incident. They will issue a case number for that chip, which should go in the notes section of the line item from where the chip was placed. Home Again will be able to go into their system and change the microchip number and advise how to handle it in our system so we don't register the same pet twice. They will also issue us a credit for the backed out chip - do not charge the client for reissue.
Microchips are automatically enrolled at the end of each business day. Clients will receive a notification once their pet is active in the system so they can update information.
Staff Pets: Team Members are to login to the website below and select "Staff Enroll" for their personal pets. There will be a $5 charge, paid directly to Home Again, for your pet's microchip. The cost in Avimark should be $0. Please talk to your Practice Manager for enrollment to make sure we have space - there is a limit of 2 pets per team member at this time for discounted enrollment.
